With Easter coming up soon, why not organize an employee-only egg hunt in the restaurant? Get some plastic eggs and fill them with candy and gift certificates, and include a couple big prizes (and maybe a couple zonks, like a penny).
If events aren’t your style, consider sending a card to employees thanking them for their hard work. It doesn’t have to be fancy, but hand-written is more meaningful. You could include gift certificates here as well.
