CURRENT LAW: All food service employees of establishments licensed by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) Division of Hotels & Restaurants must receive the Florida Food Service Employee Training. Food handlers must receive their certificate within 60 days of new hire date and renew every 3 years.

RECENT LAW UPDATE: Online training from approved providers is now accepted. Student records will be updated to the official Florida DBPR database upon successful completion of training.
