Food Manager Certification
The person in charge of the food establishment must be able to demonstrate food safety knowledge.
One way to demonstrate knowledge is to become a certified manager by passing an accredited exam such as ServSafe or Prometric. The Certification is valid for 3 years.
Certification criteria may vary depending on the county. Please check with your local health department for additional requirements.
